In order to evaluate diagnostic value of plasma fibronectin in pregnancy induced hypertension, concentrations of plasma fibronectin were measured by Turbidometric End Point method. It is based on 58 cases with PH and 106 cases of normal
pregnancies, who
were admitted to the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, school of medicines, Wonkwang Univrsity from November, 1990 to November, 1991. The gestational age of all study subjects were greater than complete 36th weeks
Mean concentrations of plasma fibronectin were statistically significant between normal and PIH group, 298.0±71,426㎍/ml versus 432.35±109,908㎍/ml respectively(P<0.001)
These findings suggest that plasma fibronectin is significant in PIH evaluation.
